EcoLeaks is a new international non-profit organization created to contribute with high-quality information to empower people with knowledge over environmental issues that threaten the survival of communities and humanity at large, through the destruction of their natural resources. We created EcoLeaks inspired by the work of WikiLeaks.
Our mission is to make that information publicly available through the sharing of scientific findings, news, interviews to opinion leaders, and the publication of censored or otherwise restricted official materials involving environmental damage and crimes.
Our growing international team is made up of scientists, environmentalists, academics, lawyers, economists and people from all walks of life. Join us to save our planet! Write us at email@example.com
EcoLeaks is physically based in General Alvear, Mendoza, Argentina — a city with a unique environmental history, which played a major role in stopping mountain-top mining activities in the Province some years ago. Today, Fracking is threatening the future of the region, and a new resistance movement is building. EcoLeaks will thus also have a strong local focus, as well as a global one.
